Gramian Consultancy is seeking a Senior Aerospace Simulation Engineer to support development, testing, and maintenance of simulation models for avionics systems. Onsite in Friedrichshafen, Germany, relocation support is available.

The role requires a Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, 5+ years in aerospace, and strong experience with simulation tools. English fluency is required; German is a plus. This is a full-time, multi-year contractor engagement.

• Experience simulating complex space/aerospace avionics systems.
• Experience deriving, implementing, testing, or validating simulation models.
• Experience with software testing, code structure, and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of the SimTG Modeling Framework is a big plus.

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Aerospace Simulation Engineer to support the development, testing, and maintenance of simulation models for complex avionics systems. The role focuses on component model derivation, system simulation, model validation, system identification, structured software testing, and technical support for engineering teams using simulation models. This position is well suited for an experienced space or aerospace engineer with strong simulation background, good coding practices, and experience working with Matlab/Simulink or comparable modeling toolchains.
