A leading materials company is seeking a junior Advanced Packaging Sales Representative to develop customer relationships and drive sales in the Flexible Packaging market across Italy and Greece. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, 1-3 years of relevant sales experience, and be fluent in English and Italian. This position offers a mix of home-based work and travel, with a strong focus on customer acquisition and support.

We are looking for a junior sales representative with a hunting attitude. If you are the right candidate, join us in the exciting journey to develop Flexible Packaging adhesives within Arkema!

  • Reporting directly to the EMEA Sales Director Flexible Packaging
  • Territory development, customer prospection, support for local Key Account customers, and support & development of key customers
  • Mainly Italy and Greece
  • Market: Flexible Packaging
  • Work from home or based in Milano, with 50-70% travel

Required Profile

  • Optimize results (T.O. consolidation, margin improvement, reduce financial risk), monitor customer payments (take action in case of delays)
  • Introduce new products to the market and promote innovation by product and application
  • Increase sales and profitability with customers and Key Accounts
  • Implement sales plans, quality regulations, and measures related to quality assurance
  • Serve existing customers and acquire new accounts
  • Achieve sales and VCM budget targets
  • Define commercial strategies in coordination with the Sales Director EMEA Flex Lam, Market Managers Flex Lam, and Key Account Manager Flex Lam
  • Conduct market studies and analyses for new innovative sales areas
  • Ensure price alignment with multi-site and national accounts
  • Develop long-term relationships by identifying key stakeholders and providing feedback on market trends and customer needs to relevant managers and R&D
  • Follow customer complaints, coordinate with quality department for quick responses, and propose commercial solutions when necessary
  • Provide monthly sales forecasts, commercial budget proposals, customer visit reports, weekly highlights, and monthly reports
  • Maintain standards of working practices, including compliance and company operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in science, engineering, or business
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales or technical sales within the Packaging market (Flexible Packaging preferred)
  • Open and proactive attitude
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinking capabilities
  • Fluent in English and Italian (native preferred)
