Job Description

Datalogic is offering an AME HW Test Engineer role, reporting to the AME Manager. He/she will collaborate with the Operations Engineering area.

The AME HW Test Engineer supports the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, a department that links R&D and Production.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Participate in the New Products design team, working with R&D and Quality, focusing on "design for manufacturability and testability";
  2. Design testing tools and automated machines for manufacturing plants;
  3. Define assembly and testing procedures for production, estimate manufacturing costs, establish time standards, and make cost-effective choices for tooling and processes;
  4. Support new product introductions in the plants;
  5. Conduct troubleshooting activities and provide production support;

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Electronic Engineering or other technical postgraduate degree;
  • Languages: Italian and English;
  • Experience: 2-5 years in a manufacturing company, preferably in tooling design.

Other Information & Specific Skills:

  • Knowledge of analog and digital hardware; software knowledge preferred;
  • Knowledge of electronic systems;
  • Attention to detail, flexibility, creativity, and proactivity;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team and complex environment.
