Obsolete Site in Vicenza, Italy, is seeking a detail-oriented administrative assistant to support daily operations. The role includes clerical tasks, answering phones and visitors, greeting customers, and following up on deadlines to ensure actions are completed on time.

You will prepare correspondence, memos, briefings and reports; handle email communications; and process work order requests for facility issues.

  • Performs a variety of clerical and administrative functions in support of the organization to which assigned. Receives phone calls and visitors.Answers routine inquiries or refers to appropriate staff members.
  • Greets and fosters positive interactions with internal and external customers. Follows up on suspense dates to ensure that required actions and responses are made within deadlines.
  • Provides administrative support including typing/word processing, mail preparation, copying, and distribution. Utilizes email to transmit, receive, and respond to email messages.
  • Using office automation equipment and word processing software, prepares a variety of correspondence, memorandums, briefings and other reports required for day-to-day operation.
  • Receives and prepares telephonic, verbal and written work order requests for phone and facility related issues and forwards for appropriate action.

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following
  • Basic computer skills, and clerical or administrative work experience which indicates the ability to perform the duties as described above.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Power Point, Excel, and other software as required. Must be able to type 40 wpm.
  • Knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalization and punctuation and composition techniques needed to accurately type a variety of material fromwritten sources or voice recordings.
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Area of Consideration
  • The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is within the local commuting area. The local commuting area defined as within 100 km (60 miles) of Vicenza, Italy.
