Job Opportunity: Quality Control Technician

Apl Lavoro Network, a Brescia-based branch of a company specializing in recruitment, selection, and employment services, is seeking to fill a position for an important metalworking company located in Valle Seriana (BG).

The selected candidate will be integrated into the quality control department and will report directly to the Quality Control Manager. Responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring legal aspects of quality during the construction and testing phases of pressure equipment.
2. Controlling and archiving material certificates, verifying conformity with construction codes, client specifications, and orders.
3. Managing relationships with clients and/or inspectors, following the inspection points outlined in control plans.
4. Overseeing the proper execution of quality controls (Destructive testing and NDT) during manufacturing stages.
5. Coordinating with NDT operators to plan client-attended inspections.
6. Preparing testing documentation related to production tests.
7. Creating the equipment test dossier.
8. Verifying component identification to ensure traceability matches the actual marking of the product under construction.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Preferred qualifications include:
• Level 1 or 2 certification in NDT methods according to EN ISO 9712.
• Knowledge of ASME VIII Div. 1 and 2 standards.
• Knowledge of PED Directive 2014/68/EU.
• Experience as an inspector in companies operating in the industrial welding sector.

Work location: Valle Seriana (BG)

Working hours: Full-time
