Job Opportunity: Quality Control Technician

Apl Lavoro Network, a Brescia-based branch, is a company specializing in recruitment, selection, and employment services. We are seeking a qualified candidate for an important metalworking company located in Valle Seriana (BG).

Position: Quality Control Department

The selected candidate will be part of the quality control team and will report directly to the Quality Control Manager. Responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring legal aspects related to quality during the construction and testing phases of pressure equipment.
2. Controlling and archiving material certificates, ensuring compliance with construction codes, customer specifications, and orders.
3. Managing relationships with clients and/or inspectors, following the inspection points outlined in the control plans.
4. Overseeing the correct execution of quality controls (Destructive and CND) during manufacturing phases.
5. Coordinating with NDT operators to plan customer-inspected controls.
6. Drafting testing documentation related to production tests.
7. Creating the test dossier for the equipment.
8. Verifying component identification, ensuring traceability lists match the actual marking on the product under construction.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Strong organizational and work planning skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

• Level 1 or 2 qualification in NDT methods according to EN ISO 9712.
• Knowledge of ASME VIII Div. 1 and 2 standards.
• Knowledge of PED 2014/68/EU directive.
• Experience as an inspector in companies operating in the industrial welding sector.

Work Location: Valle Seriana (BG)

Working Hours: Full time
