Job Opportunity: Quality Control Inspector

Apl Lavoro Network, a Brescia-based branch of a company specializing in recruitment, selection, and employment placement, is seeking to hire for a leading metalworking company located in Valle Seriana (BG).

The selected candidate will be integrated into the quality control department and will report directly to the Quality Control Manager. The responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring legal aspects related to quality during the construction and testing phases of pressure equipment.
2. Controlling and archiving material certificates, ensuring compliance with construction codes, client specifications, and orders.
3. Managing relationships with clients and inspectors, following the inspection points outlined in control plans.
4. Overseeing the correct execution of quality controls (Destructive and CND) during manufacturing phases.
5. Coordinating with CND operators to plan client-attended inspections.
6. Drafting testing documentation related to production tests.
7. Creating the equipment test dossier.
8. Verifying component identification to ensure traceability aligns with the actual marking of the product under construction.

Requirements include:

• A diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Strong organizational and work planning skills.
• Preferential qualifications include:
• Level 1 or 2 qualification in NDT control methods according to EN ISO 9712.
• Knowledge of ASME VIII Div. 1 and 2 standards.
• Knowledge of PED Directive 2014/68/EU.
• Experience as a tester in companies operating in the industrial welding sector.

Work location: Valle Seriana (BG)

Working hours: Full-time
