Job Opportunity: Quality Control Technician

Apl Lavoro Network, a Brescia-based subsidiary, is a company specialized in research, selection, and employment placement. We are seeking a candidate for an important mechanical engineering company located in Valle Seriana (BG).

The selected candidate will be integrated into the quality control department and will report directly to the quality control manager. Responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring legal aspects related to quality during the construction and testing phases of pressure equipment.
2. Controlling and archiving material certificates, verifying their conformity with construction codes, client specifications, and orders.
3. Managing relationships with clients and/or inspectors, following the inspection points specified in control plans.
4. Monitoring the proper execution of quality controls (Destructive and NDT) during manufacturing phases.
5. Coordinating with NDT operators to plan customer-attended inspections.
6. Preparing test documentation related to production tests.
7. Creating a testing dossier for the equipment.
8. Verifying component identification, ensuring traceability lists match the actual markings on the product under construction.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in mechanical technical fields.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• Strong organizational and work planning skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Level 1 or 2 qualification in NDT methods according to EN ISO 9712.
• Knowledge of ASME VIII Div. 1 and 2 standards.
• Knowledge of PED Directive 2014/68/EU.
• Experience as a tester in companies operating in the industrial welding sector.

Work location: Valle Seriana (BG)

Working hours: Full-time

Salary: The position offers direct employment with the company. Salary and classification will be discussed during the selection process based on the candidate's experience.
