Job Opportunity: Quality Control Specialist

Apl Lavoro Network, a Brescia-based branch of a company specializing in research, selection, and employment placement, is seeking to recruit for an important metalworking company located in Valle Seriana (BG).

The selected candidate will be integrated into the quality control department and will report directly to the quality control manager, taking on the following responsibilities:

1. Oversee legal aspects related to quality during the construction and testing phases of pressure equipment.
2. Control and archive material certificates, verifying their compliance with construction codes, client specifications, and orders.
3. Manage relationships with clients and/or inspectors, following the inspection points outlined in control plans.
4. Monitor the proper execution of quality controls (Destructive and NDT) during manufacturing phases.
5. Coordinate with NDT operators to plan client-attended inspections.
6. Prepare testing documentation related to production tests.
7. Create a test dossier for the equipment.
8. Verify component identification, ensuring traceability lists match the actual markings on the product under construction.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in mechanical engineering or related fields.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Strong organizational and work planning skills.

Preferred Elements

• Level 1 or 2 qualification in NDT methods according to EN ISO 9712.
• Knowledge of ASME VIII Div. 1 and 2 standards.
• Knowledge of PED Directive 2014/68/EU.
• Experience as a tester in companies operating in the industrial welding sector.
