The ANDRITZ GROUP is a globally leading supplier of plants, equipment, and services for hydropower stations, the pulp and paper industry, the metalworking and steel industries, and solid/liquid separation in the municipal and industrial sectors. In addition, ANDRITZ offers technologies for automation and other sectors.

ANDRITZ is seeking a QA technician for the services division of the HYDRO business to strengthen the department, based in Schio (VI) - Italy. As a product verification technician, both for new and existing products, you will ensure compliance with technical project specifications in collaboration with internal engineering and production teams, while following the company's internal processes.

The work location will be in Schio (VI), Italy.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

1. Dimensional checks and NDT on forged, cast, and structural components, to be performed in Italy and abroad.
2. Quality engineer tasks (drawing checks and ITP + internal team and supplier consulting).
3. Document management / certificate verification / preparation of DATABOOK.
4. NCR and RDD processes.
5. Collaboration with the Technical Office regarding materials, NDT, welding.
6. Interfacing with the Purchasing Office regarding supplier change requests.

Candidate experience and skills required:

1. Mechanical Technician diploma or similar qualification.
2. Professional experience as a QA technician.
3. Experience in dimensional checks, including 3D measurements.
4. Certification for NDT according to EN 9712.
5. Experience in NDT on castings, forgings, and welded structures.
6. Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad for supplier testing (about 50% of the time).
7. Dimensional and NDT inspections at hydroelectric plants.
8. Fluent English, both written and spoken; Spanish is a plus.
9. Experience in managing client inspections.
10. Knowledge of IT systems.
11. Proactive, analytical work style, results-oriented.
12. Good communication and management skills.
