Specialized in the search and selection of top professionals in the job market, Randstad Talent Selection is seeking for an important multinational company, a global leader in the production and distribution of sustainable building materials, the following position:

Industrial Management Control Officer

Offer: permanent employment contract under CCNL glass industry, lamps and displays sector - mechanized sector, 14 monthly salaries + internal canteen + annual PDR.

RAL: up to 40K + 10% MBO. Company car not provided.

Working hours: 40h per week, day shift from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 30-minute flexibility for arrival and departure. No smart working. The company has an internal canteen.

Work location: near Treviglio (BG)

Responsibilities

The resource is an integral part of the plant management team, interfaces with Shift Leaders, Production Manager, Process Engineers, and reports hierarchically to the Plant Manager. Participates in plant meetings providing insights based on data interpretation and contributes to the company's development.

The Industrial Controlling Office is based in Milan and is responsible for training and supporting the resource during their professional growth.

Main activities of the Industrial Plant Controller include:

  • Create reports and analyses on monthly performance and cost savings (maintenance costs, consumption costs, plant costs);
  • Analyze losses, obsolescence, and time efficiency;
  • Contribute to defining production efficiency and industrial KPIs;
  • Evaluate deviations, monitor and verify investment profitability; monitor inventory levels and manage allocations;
  • Perform procedures for monthly closing and be responsible for budgeting and forecasting activities;
  • No budget management or reporting responsibilities.
Plant & controlling team participation

Actively participate in plant meetings and actively support the Plant Manager in developing a strategic and clear view of the plant's performance. Coordinate with the Controlling Department to ensure consistency in applying industrial analysis methods.

Compliance with safety standards and company procedures

Ensure all safety norms related to their perimeter are diligently followed and applied in case of necessity or emergency according to established standards.

Skills and Requirements
Hard Skills
  • Residence within 45 km of the plant;
  • Degree in Business Economics, Management Engineering, or equivalent; at least 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably international, or at least 4 years as a Financial Controller;
  • Proficiency in Office Suite and ERP systems: advanced Excel skills combined with ERP knowledge for autonomous task management.
Soft Skills
  • Results-oriented: ability to set objectives, pursue them diligently, and plan actions accordingly;
  • Ability to plan and organize resources in relation to the plant's rhythms and demands;
  • Team working: open to sharing information and opinions with the Plant Manager and colleagues;
  • Effective communication: essential for maintaining open dialogue at all levels of the company.

Plus: knowledge of SAP, advanced English skills.
