Join Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 as an Accreditation Specialist and play a crucial role in managing the accreditation for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. You will liaise with stakeholders and ensure a smooth process while representing the accreditation area. Ideal candidates will have experience in global multi-sport events and strong project management skills.

Competenze

Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games.

Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history : 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km.

The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI).

Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano / Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.

Position

We are looking for Accreditation Specialist.

The identified resource will be responsible for activities such as :

  • Support the accreditation process for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
  • Identify, register, and issue accreditation to all members of the Games Family and Workforce population.
  • Liaise with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient accreditation process prior to and during the Games.
  • Support the accreditation process across all dedicated accreditation facilities.
  • Act as a representative and spokesperson for the accreditation functional area during the Games by sharing information, policies and procedures, assisting and troubleshooting, monitoring accreditation applications, data quality control.
  • Be ready to present and communicate the accreditation process and general operational guidelines.
  • Supporting the accreditation process for multiple stakeholders across multiple accreditation centres whilst maintaining the Olympic level of service.

Requirements

  • Accreditation experience ideally at least one other global multi-sport event.
  • Proven ability to manage a multi-layered project independently and take ownership of operations and procedures.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills and database management desired.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain working relationships with other departments.
  • Evidence of ability to apply a clear, logical, and coherent approach to the analysis of complex issues, and the development and implementation of recommendations for action.
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic working environment, handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to manage high workload via effective time management and use of resources.
  • Highly numerate, good IT (Information Technology) skills, detail-conscious and well-organised.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • English (full professional proficiency), Spanish, French is desired.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of accreditation systems and database management.
