A leading company in financial technology seeks a Finance and Accounting professional in Milan. In this role, you will manage accounts receivable, optimize financial processes, and ensure compliance. Ideal candidates will have a master’s degree and significant experience in finance, as well as excellent language skills in Italian and English.

Your role :

Your key duties and responsibilities

• Active Cycle Management: Support all activities related to accounts receivable.
• Process Optimization and Regulatory Compliance: Continually seek ways to improve financial processes for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Sales, Treasury, Procurement, and HR to ensure financial operations are integrated across the company.
• Compliance Management and Audit Preparation: Ensure strict adherence to financial compliance standards.
• Technology Implementation and Innovation: Assist in implementing advanced accounting software or ERP systems to enhance financial operations.

Additional tasks may be assigned as your role expands.

Your skills, experience, and qualifications required :

• Master’s degree in Management, Engineering, or a quantitative field (with honors).
• At least three to five years of experience in Accounting & Finance.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian and English languages.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• SAP knowledge and prior experience in a similar position are considered a plus.
• A proactive "get things done" attitude, with the ability to prioritize, support, and track multiple tasks successfully while meeting deadlines in a constantly changing environment.
• Availability to travel weekly to the company location in Emilia Romagna.
