Accounts Payable Expert

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the CFO of the Italian Legal Entity, he/she will process supplier’s invoices within the ERP system; he/she will be responsible for researching and resolving supplier and internal customer inquiries and support other activities as required.

Main responsibilities include:

• Verifying and analyzing accounts payable transactions and postings, supporting the activity of the external share service center, and assisting in related problem solving;
• Maintaining and reconciling financial statements, performing checks and balances in the ERP system (SAP), and ensuring adherence to external and internal controls and policies;
• Supporting activities related to month-end closing and reporting, as well as the preparation of yearly statutory financial statements;
• Preparing and dispensing the monthly administrative activities (F24 payments, monthly VAT and withholding tax liquidation, intrastat declaration) and the related postings;
• Preparing periodic tax fulfillments (quarterly and annual VAT declaration, employees and external consultants CU);
• Collaborating with statutory auditors and external auditors during their periodic checks;
• Following the industrial accountancy aimed at product and inventory costifications;
• Supervising the budgeting and forecasting process of the Company;
• Performing monthly industrial cost variance analysis.

Candidate Profile

• At least 4 years of relevant Accounts Payable processing experience;
• A degree in economics or equivalent background;
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and prioritize;
• Fluency in English;
• Ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines;
• Previous SAP experience is an appreciated plus.
