LHH is looking for a highly qualified professional to fill the role of Accounting & Tax Manager for the branch of a multinational company, reporting directly to the CFO.
Responsibilities
- Leading the accounting Team, driving engagement and actively promoting innovation, digitalization, and processes improvement in general;
- Coordinating and supervising all accounting, tax, and related activities and tasks (e.g., general ledger, accounts payables, accounts receivables, and collection, treasury, monthly closing, and reporting, tax obligations, and formalities), ensuring their correctness, quality, timing, and compliance with tax and legal regulations, accounting principles, and directives;
- Ensuring the regular monitoring and reconciliation of all P&L, B/S, and transitory accounts;
- Ensuring Treasury Management and Banking Functions in accordance with legislative, regulatory, and Treasury requirements;
- Ensuring quality and timing of tax calculation, declaration, and payment in coordination with external advisors;
- Ensuring the quality and timing of all activities related to the Transfer Pricing Policy applied by the company, in coordination with Group Tax and external advisors;
- Preparing statutory financial statements in coordination with external advisors;
- Managing corporate and accounting books, e.g., journal vouchers, VAT;
- Managing the relationship with external auditors and advisors and other main stakeholders;
- Being one of the Key Leaders and reference members within the finance department and the main Speaking Partner in relation to accounting & tax matters within the organization;
- Being one of the Key Users of the finance system and a Key Actor in the implementation of the new ERP system.
Your Profile
The Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:
- University Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics;
- Minimum 8-10 years of advanced experience in Accounting and Tax, preferably in local entities of multinational groups;
- Former experiences in Audit and/or as Team Leader are considered an important plus;
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken;
- High level of integrity and reliability; autonomous, rigorous, accurate, and structured;
- Strong knowledge of Accounting and Tax-related matters;
- Proven ability to manage resources, direct and indirect;
- Analytical with continuous improvement mindset and ability to understand and challenge the status quo;
- Proactive with own drive, able to take action and solve problems;
- Project management and organizational skills;
- Good business understanding, customer focus, and responsiveness;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team and to build relationships;
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications;
- IDMS knowledge is considered a strong plus.
Location: Milan. RAL 65,000 Euro.
