In this role, you will manage accounting data accuracy, month-end closes, and financial reporting in a collaborative environment, while contributing to process optimization and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accounting, substantial experience with international clients, and strong technical accounting skills.

How you will learn, grow and contribute :

Based in Caponago (Italy), in your role as Accounting & Reporting Specialist you will reinforce the accounting, analytical and reporting skills of the Self-Adhesives Finance team in Italy (2 legal entities).

• You will ensure the accuracy of accounting data, with focus on AP / AR data quality and monthly accruals and provisions.
• You will run month-end close and reporting in the local ERPs (Navision + Alyante), as well as perform controlling activities to support month-end analysis and Group reporting.
• You will manage / support the upload and validation of financial data into the Fedrigoni reporting system (Tagetik).
• You will perform cash flow analysis, working closely with the Treasury / Accounting / Credit Team.
• You will support functional transformation initiatives, including processes optimization, definition of common policies and procedures, alignment with Group policies and guidelines.
• You will establish and maintain an environment of internal control and integrity, while supporting the management of local Finance systems.
• You will deal with external parties, such as tax consultants and payroll provider.
• You will support compliance audits, annual audits, and ad-hoc due diligence activities.

What you’ll add to the team :

• You have a degree in Accounting, MSc in Accounting / Finance or similar experience.
• You have approx. 3 years of experience in a major audit firm, supporting customers operating with an international footprint on a large scale.
• You have strong technical accounting skills.
• You are proficient in Excel and experienced user of accounting and financial systems.
• You are able to work and deliver results under pressure.
• You have good communication and interpersonal skills.
• You are fluent in Italian and English.
• You are available to travel as required by business needs.
