The Human Technopole Foundation (HT) is an interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and healthy aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational biology, structural biology, neuroscience and health data science. HT scientists work together to enable interdisciplinary research and to create an open, collaborative environment to help promote life science research nationally and internationally. In line with its mission to serve the research community at large, HT operates National Facilities, specifically aimed at making HT’s technologies, methods and tools available to the national scientific community.
The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for an Accounting Officer to join the Finance Area, directly reporting to the Accounting and Treasury Manager.
The Accounting Officer supports accounts payable processes, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of daily A/P activities. The role focuses on maintaining effective reconciliations, processing invoices, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to address discrepancies
Your main tasks andresponsibilities:
Manage daily A/P accounting activities, including HT and CITT;
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations for accounts payable, including National Facilities;
Ensuring timely and accurate registration and payment of supplier invoices;
Analysis and resolution of discrepancies between invoice and order;
Update and maintenance Namirial, SDI and Sap;
Assist in preparing documentation and data for internal and external audits.
Mandatory requirements:
Diploma in Accounting or related field;
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance in medium-large companies, characterized by high management and organizational complexity;
Basic understanding of accounts payable and reconciliation processes;
Fluency both in English and Italian;
Good knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Preferential requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
Previous experience in public/private research institutes;
Knowledge of the main accounting software and ERP SAP.

Analytical skills;
Ability to prioritize and organize;
Effective communication and teamwork skills;
Eagerness to learn and improve processes.

Salary range: up to € 30k depending on the candidate’s experience.
