Report to : Head of Finance

Responsible for :

Supporting the finance team with a focus on Payables, VAT / fiscal monthly reports, and cash management; with exposure to business support and controlling activities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities :

Handling accounts payable activities in conjunction with colleagues and the shared service center, including checking supplier master files, creating new suppliers, matching supplier invoices, supporting purchase order creation and status, managing contracts and related invoices, and performing monthly reconciliations of BS and P&L accounts.

Performing daily cash reconciliation, including collecting banking envelopes, counting, and balancing; processing petty cash as required; managing employee expense claims; overseeing sales expense claims paid by company credit card; and daily VAT register checks with elaboration of VAT monthly reconciliation and management of Park Hyatt "Autofatture".

Keeping track of intra-UE invoices for Intrastat purposes, preparing monthly accruals for specific departments, and presenting them to the Assistant Director of Finance. Reviewing preliminary profit and loss figures with the finance team and participating in monthly financial statement reviews.

Helping oversee hotel on-site accounting functions to ensure proper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting, and analysis. Assisting with compliance per local, GAF, and Hyatt standards, and supporting the quarterly and year-end audit processes. Participating in special reporting and analysis projects.
