As a human resources admin, it will generally be your duty to support the department's human resources specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and maintain personnel records.
  • Update internal and external databases (e.g. record annual, sick or maternity leave, engagement forms on Jobsplus, etc.).
  • Assist in the onboarding process.
  • Prepare HR documents and gather new-starter documents.
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors.
  • Answer employees' queries about HR-related issues.
  • Assist in arranging employee relocations.
  • Assist in payroll by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days, and work schedules).
  • Create references/bank letters/confirmation of probation.
  • Assist in work permit applications.
  • Support Leave Management.
  • Manage employee discounts and discount app.
  • Participate in HR projects.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role, preferred but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of Maltese labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • A personal and empathic approach.
