A leading company in supply chain solutions is seeking an Accounting Analyst in Genova. The ideal candidate will handle accounts payable, invoice processing, and liaise between departments while possessing strong accounting knowledge and communication skills.

Competenze

• Working knowledge of accounting processes and procedures.
• Good knowledge of Italian tax law and Italian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Previous experience in freight forwarding companies preferred.

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing general clerical duties within the accounting department.

Essential Job Duties:

• Timely and accurate processing of account payable duties
• Processing invoices by entering them into system
• Liaising with operations department to identify and solve any misalignements with provisional costs
• Making copies of check runs and matching them to the appropriate invoice
• Filing of processed invoices, checks and PO's
• Performing research as needed
• Monitoring client/vendor account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
• Billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
• Communicating with clients/vendors via phone, email, mail or personally
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous experience in freight forwarding companies (preferred)
