BCD Travel is looking for an experienced individual for a full-time accounting role in Milan. You will perform day-to-day accounting functions, preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Location: Milan, Italy, Office, Europe.

Full‑time, Milan, Italy.

In this role, you will perform day‑to‑day accounting functions and assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports for a designated area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, and conduct necessary account analysis and research.
• Reconcile bank statements monthly.
• Create financial reports addressed to clients.
• Answer questions from associates and managers on matters relating to the general ledger and posted items.
• Perform various tasks on receivable accounts ledger accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in accounting/finance or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency with ERPs a plus.
• MS applications and proficiency with MS Excel a must.
• Travel industry experience is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Italian.
