THE ROLE

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Accountant to join our growing Finance team. You’ll play a key role in managing core accounting operations while working cross-functionally with colleagues in both Milan and Naples.

This is a high-impact role at the heart of our finance function — perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, structured environments and brings a problem-solving mindset to the table. You’ll own critical accounting processes, support compliance efforts, and contribute to continuous process improvements across the board.

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in corporate accounting, ideally with experience using NetSuite, and an openness to occasional travel to Naples to connect with our wider Finance team.

You will be responsible for:

• Day-to-Day Accounting Operations: Manage daily accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in line with internal policies and regulatory standards.

• ERP & Financial Systems Management: Utilize NetSuite ERP to process, track, and monitor financial data, ensuring system integrity and operational efficiency.
• Financial Close & Reporting: Support monthly and annual closing activities, contributing to timely and accurate financial reporting, with a focus on structured and B2B environments.
• Cross-Team Finance Collaboration:Coordinate regularly with the Naples-based finance team to align processes, share updates, and ensure consistent financial practices across locations.
• Controls & Process Improvement:Identify and implement improvements in internal controls and accounting procedures, enhancing efficiency and reducing risk.

️YOU WILL BE THE PERFECT FIT IF YOU HAVE:

• 3+ years of experience in a structured company within the accounting and/or administration department
• Master Degree in Economics or similar
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP is essential, especially if you’ve been involved in its implementation and integration with other business tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of general Italian accounting, analytical accounting, and financial statement analysis, including solid understanding of tax and VAT regulations (knowledge of Spain and France is a plus)
• Experience in managing cost center accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English and Italian
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for user-centric design and community development
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and experimentation.

Location:Frequent presence at our Milan office is required. Please note that this role may occasionally involve travel to Naples or other locations, including destinations outside of Italy.
