We are looking for an accountant to provide support to the European Loro Piana Finance team working for European Loro Piana Companies and cross-countries projects.

Daily accounting tasks are a large part of the senior accountant’s day-to-day work.

The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers and attention to detail.

The goal is to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the department.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash reconciliation
• Liaise with stores for cash reconciliation management
• Post and process journal entries
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets & income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Prepare and submit monthly reports
• Assist Finance Managers in the preparation of monthly closings
• Assist with other finance projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics Sciences
• Good knowledge of both written and spoken English language, knowledge of other languages will be a plus
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to detail
• Aptitude for teamwork
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions independently
• Good with numbers and figures
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Good knowledge of MS Office, in particular MS excel
• Familiarity with SAP and Piteco software preferred
