Istituto delle Vitamine S.p.A. is market leader in nutrition and produces and sells vitamins, eubiotics, enzymes, microelements and other nutritional ingredients addressed to the zootechnical, food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

The accountant has overall responsibility for the coordination, monitoring, reporting and analysis of the legal entity's financial statements. To ensure this, the legal entity controller is responsible for implementing and supervising structured interactions with all relevant stakeholders: BU account manager, other financial control teams, Financial Shared Services, internal and external auditors.

Your key responsibilities

1. Oversee and execute finance actuals, closing, and reporting activities for assigned reporting unit(s) to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
2. Ensure compliance with dsm-firmenich Accounting Rules, international, and local statutory accounting standards to maintain integrity of financial statements and management report.
3. Monitor the Balance Sheet, conduct financial variance analysis, and address open items to ensure financial stability and accuracy.
4. Review integrity and quality of all sub ledgers, including balance reconciliation, to identify and resolve discrepancies.
5. Actively oversee the financial closing process, lead pre-close meetings, define and implement mitigation actions to address issues, and drive improvements to meet defined deadlines and ensure correctness of actuals.
6. Execution and supervision of A/P, A/R, Assets and General Ledger accounting.
7. Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and all statutory and fiscal requirements of the local legal entity (VAT, Withholding Tax, Fiscal books).
8. Budget and quarterly forecast.
9. Controlling of Daily and Monthly Billing Process.
10. Collaboration and Support to fiscal authorities, bank, internal and external auditors and company's legal, corporate and fiscal consultants.
11. Cooperation with local HR to manage employees fiscal and administrative matters.
12. Support Production team to create/monitor/analysis of Capex request and Mixing Cost.
13. Check and execution of vendors payment with strong interaction with local Purchase team.
14. Responsible for the accounting and reporting for DSM Italia and DFS Italy in collaboration with the Shared Financial Service.

You bring

1. Bachelor's in accounting & finance.
2. Fluent in English.
3. Very good knowledge of statutory law.
4. Deep accounting knowledge.
5. Knowledge of local fiscal/legal requirements (VAT, Withholding Tax, Financial Statement, Journal books, Intrastat).
6. Very good knowledge of SAP system.
7. Knowledge of Zucchetti's ERP will be considered a plus.
8. Curious, sharp and open-minded.
9. Business oriented and proactive.
10. Hungry of knowledge and daily challenges.
11. Very good communication skills.
12. Team spirit.
13. A minimum of 2 years of experience in multinational companies and international financial issues/budgeting.
