A leading organization in sustainable supply chain solutions seeks a Sales Business Developer. You will negotiate contracts, manage accounts, and develop new business opportunities. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in sales/business development related to fresh supply chain businesses and must possess a Bachelor’s degree. Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in CRM are essential. This position is located in Sesto San Giovanni.

Main activities

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits;
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of company solutions according to customer needs and objectives;
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas (e.g., new market verticals, supply chain collaborations);
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., quarterly sales results and annual forecasts) and prepare reports on account status;
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure credit collections;
  • Ensure appropriate visibility of sales activities and opportunities by adopting the company CRM as required.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree;
  • 5+ years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in fresh supply chain businesses/food systems;
  • BtB logistics business model background;
  • Experience in account management and building relationships with clients and suppliers - BtB;
  • Knowledge of working with a CRM system and proficient in Excel;
  • Strong commercial ability and excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills;
  • High energy, strong sense of commitment, results-driven;
  • Full working proficiency in English is required.

  • Experience with operational excellence practices;
  • Multicultural experience in international environments.
