As an Account Manager, you will be the main sales contact for the North-West Italy territory, covering all of Quaker Houghton's products, equipment, and services. Your focus will be on maintaining relationships with existing customers, mainly in the metalworking market, and driving cross-selling and customer satisfaction initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business in North and West Italy to meet sales and gross margin targets through regular customer visits
  • Build strong relationships with key contacts to enhance customer satisfaction and cross-selling
  • Create customer presentations, proposals, and value plans
  • Provide technical advice and collaborate with Product Application team for solutions
  • Align with the KAM team on account strategies
  • Coordinate with Fluid Intelligence Solutions and Customer Service teams
  • Report on sales, budgets, and forecasts using CRM and IT tools
  • Participate in industry events and monitor market trends

Candidate Profile:

Minimum 3 years' proven sales experience in the metalworking industry, preferably in lubricants, coolants, or similar chemicals. Passionate and dedicated sales professional seeking growth.

  • Educational background in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, or relevant engineering
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Field-based role in West and North Italy
  • Safety-conscious, autonomous, results-driven, analytical, customer-focused
