A global manufacturing leader is seeking an Account Manager for the North-West Italy territory. The role involves nurturing customer relationships, driving sales growth, and delivering technical solutions in the metalworking fluids market. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of technical sales experience, an engineering degree, and bilingual proficiency in Italian and English. As an Account Manager, you will be the main sales contact for the North-West Italy territory covering all of Quaker Houghton’s offering of products, equipment and services. You will focus on nurturing relationships with our existing customer base, mainly in the metalworking fluids market, and drive cross-selling and customer satisfaction initiatives. Our customers’ success is our own.
The ideal candidate will have from 1 to 3 years of technical sales experience in a B2B environment. Ideally, experience in the metalworking process and the automotive sector. Managing both end user and distributor accounts is an advantage.
Education: Engineering degree (mechanical, chemical, industrial or similar)
Languages: Italian (bilingual level) and English (professional level, written & spoken) are a must. Previous work experience in metalworking fluids, lubricants, grease, coolants or other similar industrial chemical markets.
Profile: A dynamic professional with excellent communication and presentation skills to build strong trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
Location: This is a field-based role in the West and North Italy territory.
