A global leader in packaging solutions is seeking an experienced Account Manager for their Medical Device Business. This remote position is responsible for building relationships and executing sales strategies across Western Europe, Nordics, and the UK. The ideal candidate will have a degree and 4-8 years of sales experience, particularly in highly sophisticated products. Strong communication and financial skills are required, alongside fluency in English and French.

Position: Account Manager, Medical Device Business

kp is currently looking for an experienced Account Manager for our Medical Device Business. The role involves representing kp as the primary contact for customers, building strong relationships, and executing sales strategies within your territory, which includes Western Europe, Nordics, and UK. The position is remote, preferably based in France or Italy.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers, expanding our customer base and engagement.
  • Understand our customers' businesses deeply and nurture peer-to-peer dialogue across purchasing, supply chain, quality, operations, engineering, marketing, and business development.
  • Establish and enhance the Relationship Map through market, industry, and customer research, understanding key goals and strategies related to finance, operations, product, and patient acquisition.
  • Gain a working understanding of the Medical Device market segment, including product portfolios, service offerings, application requirements, manufacturing processes, and quality/regulatory standards. A moderate technical knowledge of our products and applications is essential.
  • Align value propositions with customer needs and identify areas for differentiation and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain a robust project pipeline within your territory, documenting progress accurately in our CRM system.
  • Manage your book of business, including OE and OB, with financial acumen.
  • Optimize profitability by managing pricing and necessary adjustments in collaboration with sales controlling.
  • Travel as needed within and outside your territory for customer engagement, market development, or other business purposes.
Requirements :
  • Degree in commercial or technical studies with 4–8 years of sales experience in highly sophisticated products, preferably in the Medical Device industry.
  • Knowledge of polymers and related conversion processes such as calendaring, extrusion, lamination, etc.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing disciplined sales plans and processes.
  • Effective communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce.com is advantageous.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Financial skills to evaluate business implications of customer decisions.
  • Highly organized, self-managed, with excellent time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to drive aggressive growth with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Challenger mindset—motivating customers, challenging ideas, and building constructive relationships.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages like Italian or Spanish are a plus. #LI-REMOTE
