A leading global packaging company is seeking an experienced Account Manager for its Medical Device Business. In this role, you will represent the company, build relationships, and execute sales strategies across various accounts. The position is remote, preferably located in France or Italy, requiring strong customer relationship skills and experience in the Medical Device industry.

kp is currently looking for an experienced Account Manager for our Medical Device Business. The role will be accountable for representing kp as the primary face to the customer, building strong relationships, and executing sales strategies across various accounts within the territory, which includes Western Europe, the Nordics, and the UK. The position is remote, preferably based in France or Italy.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers, expanding our customer intimacy.
  • Broaden understanding of our customers' businesses and strengthen relationships through peer-to-peer dialogue in areas such as purchasing, supply chain, quality, operations, engineering, marketing, and business development.
  • Establish and complement the Relationship Map with market, industry, and customer research, understanding key goals and strategies related to finance, operations, product, and patient acquisition.
  • Gain a working understanding of the Medical Device market segment, including product portfolios, service offerings, application requirements, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements. A moderate level of technical knowledge is essential.
  • Develop value alignment with customers and prospects, identifying areas of differentiation and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Build a robust project pipeline within the territory and manage it through accurate and timely documentation in our CRM.
  • Manage the assigned book of business, including OE and OB, with financial acumen.
  • Maximize profit by managing pricing and necessary adjustments, supported by sales controlling.
  • Travel as needed within and outside the territory for customer meetings, value-stream, or marketing purposes.

Requirements :

  • Commercial or technical education with 4–8 years of experience in selling highly sophisticated products, preferably in the Medical Device industry.
  • Working knowledge of polymers and related conversion capabilities (calendaring, extrusion, lamination, etc.).
  • Experience in designing and implementing disciplined sales plans and processes.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce.com is advantageous.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Financial skills to evaluate business implications of customer-related decisions.
  • Highly organized, able to self-manage with excellent time management and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage aggressive growth with a sense of urgency.
  • Challenger attitude, capable of motivating customers, challenging ideas, and building constructive relationships.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages like Italian or Spanish are a plus. #LI-REMOTE
