A leading packaging company is looking for an experienced Account Manager for their Medical Device Business. This remote position focuses on building customer relationships and executing sales strategies across Western Europe, Nordics, and the UK. The ideal candidate will have substantial sales experience, knowledge of the Medical Device sector, and strong presentation skills. Fluency in English and French is essential, with additional languages as a plus.

kp is currently looking for an experienced Account Manager for our Medical Device Business. The role will be accountable for representing kp as the primary face to the customer, building strong relationships, and executing sales strategies within the territory, which includes Western Europe, Nordics, and the UK. The position is remote, preferably based in France or Italy.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities :

  • Develop and manage relationships with existing and new customers, expanding our customer base and engagement.
  • Understand our customers’ business environments and strengthen relationships through peer-peer dialogue in areas such as purchasing, supply chain, quality, operations, engineering, marketing, and business development.
  • Establish and enhance the Relationship Map with market, industry, and customer research, understanding key goals and strategies related to finance, operations, product, and patient acquisition.
  • Gain a working understanding of the Medical Device market segment, including product portfolios, service offerings, application requirements, manufacturing processes, and quality/regulatory standards relevant to our value proposition. A moderate technical knowledge is advantageous.
  • Align value propositions with customer needs, highlighting differentiators and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
  • Build a robust project pipeline within the territory, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in our CRM system.
  • Manage your assigned book of business, including operating expenses and order book, with financial acumen.
  • Optimize profitability by managing pricing strategies and adjustments supported by sales controlling.
  • Travel as necessary within and outside the territory for customer meetings, value-stream activities, or marketing events.

Requirements :

  • Commercial or technical education with 4-8 years of sales experience in highly sophisticated products, preferably in the Medical Device industry.
  • Knowledge of polymers and related processes such as calendaring, extrusion, and lamination.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing disciplined sales plans and processes.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce.com (advantageous).
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Financial acumen to assess business implications of customer decisions.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to drive aggressive growth with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Challenger mindset, capable of motivating customers, challenging ideas, and building constructive relationships.
  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages like Italian or Spanish are a plus. #LI-REMOTE
