Account Manager – Italy (Swine & Poultry Enzymes & Probiotics) (Remote)

Location: Italy (Home office with good connectivity to a major airport)

As part of the European Animal and Plant BioSolutions sales team, you will play a key role in advancing our enzyme and probiotic business in Italy, with a specific focus on swine and poultry. This position has been created following the integration of DSM-Firmenich’s enzyme portfolio into Novonesis, strengthening our commitment to delivering innovative BioSolutions to the animal health and nutrition industry.

You will report directly to the Head of Sales - Monogastric for Western Europe and collaborate closely with both European and Global functions, including sales, marketing, and technical teams.

In This Role, You’ll Contribute By

  • Supporting the development and implementation of our enzyme and probiotic solutions in the Italian swine and poultry sectors
  • Mapping and prioritizing business opportunities across the Italian market
  • Driving commercial strategy execution and supporting ongoing and new projects
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with key customers and partners
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across the animal nutrition and health value chain
  • Representing Novonesis at national trade shows, conferences, and industry events

The Ideal Candidate Should

  • Hold a university degree or equivalent qualification in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Agronomy, or related life sciences
  • Have strong knowledge of swine and poultry production systems, especially in Italy
  • Bring a few years of experience in animal health or feed additive sales, business development, or technical support
  • Be familiar with enzyme and/or probiotic applications in animal nutrition (preferred)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Be fluent in English and Italian; proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Be open to travel (~35% of the time) within Italy and occasionally abroad
