We are looking for an Account Manager who will support our Sales Team in Turin, Italy to maintain and grow our business and client relationships.

Main responsibilities :

  • The Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing the business as well as building dependable relationships with customer contacts that are key for decision making and influencing according to BorgWarner's needs.
  • The Account Manager is responsible for the daily maintenance of the account, working with Engineering and Manufacturing Operations to create and implement strategies for maximizing current business and obtaining new business at the assigned OEM(s).
  • Negotiates product pricing and commercial recovery strategies for all commercially related events ensuring a favorable outcome for BorgWarner.
  • Develops sales forecasts for use in the LRP and monitors market trends throughout the year for use in monthly forecast adjustments.
  • Provides global coordination on customer issues where required.
  • Complies with contract review procedures and BW commercial policies.
  • Develops (with input from cross-functional teams) and deploys comprehensive customer strategies that improve profitability and growth.
  • Articulates a clear understanding of our market share, competitive position, and profitability in the assigned account.
  • The Account Manager utilizes company procedures/tools (SIMS, OCI 2.0) and takes ownership of monitoring performance on key supplier metrics, pursuing corrective actions as appropriate.
  • The Account Manager prepares and shares all requested reporting material regularly.

Required Profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical and/or economics field.
  • Master's degree will be considered a plus.
  • Experience with and understanding of powertrain or cooling systems and components.
  • Proactive attitude to work independently and bring tasks to completion.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, including presenting to customers.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Skilled in MS Office.
