About the role

We are seeking a talented Account Manager to develop our Spirits brands in the North of Italy within the Cash & Carry channel. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth and managing customer relationships in your territory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer propositions to unlock growth and enhance profit.
  • Build a strong customer plan including promo calendar, assortment, and innovations.
  • Manage daily customer routines: orders, forecasts, stock, and payments.
  • Visit assigned C&C customers regularly based on agreed call frequency.
  • Understand customer structures, policies, and selling methods.
  • Build collaborative relationships and negotiate commercial agreements aligned with Diageo policies.
  • Deliver Joint Business Plans (JBPs) to create mutual value.
  • Monitor performance, ensuring activities meet targets and implementing corrective actions when needed.

Key Outcomes

  • Market share and NSV growth.
  • Maintain optimal customer stock levels.
  • Support customers in credit management and payment terms.

Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience in FMCG C&C and Modern Trade channels.
  • Highly organized with planning skills.
  • Qualifications: HBO/Academic degree.
  • 3-5 years of field sales experience, preferably in the beverage FMCG sector.
  • Languages: Native Italian, good English knowledge.
