Account Manager, Amazon Business Advisory

Amazon Seller Services is a division of Amazon Inc., headquartered in Seattle, USA. It aims to help sellers grow their business by offering services leveraging Amazon's capabilities. We are now looking to work with Indian retailers to scale their business. For more details, visit (US) and (India).

As a Sales Associate with Amazon Seller Services India, you will deliver Amazon’s offerings in India, engaging retailers throughout their lifecycle. Your responsibilities include identifying and recruiting retailers with competitive pricing and broad product selection, training sellers on Amazon systems, and analyzing seller performance metrics to foster success.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience, be able to work independently, influence external parties, and be comfortable with technology systems and data analysis. Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment and execution of repeatable processes are essential.

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Understand and articulate Amazon products and services to external audiences.
  • Define target seller base and industry verticals using local knowledge.
  • Identify valuable sellers and establish long-term partnerships.
  • Manage seller integration and provide basic training for self-reliance.
  • Monitor performance and sales of key partners.

Prior Experience and Skills :

  • More than 3 years of sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Passion for e-commerce.
  • Experience in analytics, results-oriented environments, and external customer interactions.
  • Metrics-driven with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with SME retailers, e-commerce, retail, advertising, or media is advantageous.
  • Understanding of the retail landscape in India and experience selling to new markets is desirable.
  • Entrepreneurial drive with the ability to achieve stretch goals.
  • Language skills relevant to the local market are a plus.
