A leading life sciences company is seeking an Account Manager to drive sales growth in Italy. The role involves developing sales plans, managing existing accounts, and expanding the customer base. Candidates should hold at least a Master's degree in Molecular Biology and possess relevant sales experience. Proficiency in English and Italian is highly desired. This position offers a home-office setup, allowing for flexible work arrangements.

The Account Manager's role is to ensure the achievement of sales within their given territory. The position will be responsible for managing all business accounts in the assigned region, creating strategies, and executing tactics to develop and implement sales plans that contribute to the company's financial growth.

Location : Home-office from Milan, Turin, or Bologna

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Develop, establish, and implement an effective sales plan tailored to the territory and specific accounts to achieve the goals of the budget and financial growth of the territory.
  • Maintain a current understanding and knowledge of the company’s products and services to provide accurate information to clients and customers.
  • Manage existing accounts and expand the customer base in the territory, developing long-term profitable accounts.
  • Participate in all sales activities and attend meetings.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Molecular Biology is required; PhD degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in Next Generation Sequencing is required.
  • Previous sales experience in the Life Science industry is preferred.
  • Outstanding listening, verbal, and written English communication skills.
  • Business-level Italian communication proficiency is highly preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated success in generating new customer leads and building a business.
  • Ability to establish and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Independent, capable of working remotely from a home office.
