Who You’ll Become
The Account Executive's primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing new business with both existing and new customers. The Account Executive empowers our customers to achieve their full potential by understanding their strategy, business goals, and desired outcomes, thereby driving cloud revenue growth through dedicated sales efforts to help solve their business challenges by demonstrating value through our solutions.
What You’ll Do
As an Account Executive within the SAP Academy for Customer Success, your responsibilities will include:
The program will enhance your knowledge of SAP and the Customer Success area, providing professional experience to prepare you for serving our customers. We offer full-time employment from day one with practical learning applications. Upon successful completion, you will transition into a direct customer-facing sales role in your market, continuing to receive mentoring and coaching to support your growth.
Sales roles in scope include: Account Executive (AE), Solution Sales Executive (SSE).
SSE focus areas
SAP Finance & Spend Management (F&S) – Knowledge in areas such as accounting, procurement, and supplier management, focusing on increasing visibility, reducing costs, and improving efficiency.
SAP SuccessFactors (Human Capital Management - HCM) – Knowledge in core HR, payroll, talent management, employee experience, HR analytics, workforce planning, and sales performance management.
SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) – Knowledge in supply chain, asset management, manufacturing, logistics, or product and project lifecycle management.
SAP Customer Experience (CX) – Knowledge of e-commerce sales, customer service, and marketing processes.
SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM) – Knowledge in business process management and automation applications.
SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) – Knowledge in database and data management, analytics, application development, integration, and AI technologies. Understanding of integration, application, data, infrastructure, and security domains.

SAP’s employees across regions are enabled to work in a hybrid model, typically three days a week in the office or on-site with customers or partners, according to local guidelines.
We plan a practical, immersive component, likely involving four weeks spread over two trips to San Ramon, California, offering hands-on learning and networking. The final decision on this component will be confirmed by Q1 2026, with sufficient notice for preparations.
During critical phases, full engagement is required, and vacation may be restricted.
