Position Summary
We are seeking an Account Executive based in Italy to lead Forwood’s growth across Italy and the broader European region. You will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth in high-risk industries such as mining, construction, and manufacturing.
This strategic role suits someone who excels in building long-term customer relationships, managing complex enterprise sales, and championing impactful technology. You will play a key role in expanding our regional presence and shaping safety management practices.
This is a 100% remote position. Fluency in both English and Italian is required for effective engagement with our diverse customer base and internal teams.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Meet all sales and operational targets within set deadlines.
- Develop and tailor sales strategies for the regional market.
- Report to the Global Head of Sales on regional sales, KPI tracking, and pipeline management.
- Promote correct usage of CRM and sales tools.
- Support product launches, development, and market upskilling of Forwood products.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with other teams on sales initiatives.
- Train and ensure adherence to sales processes.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to build the pipeline and increase revenue.
- Communicate the company's value proposition through proposals and presentations, including product education and training.
- Analyze industry trends and report on factors influencing budgets and strategic directions.
- Work effectively within a high-performing, cross-functional team to achieve sales targets and company goals.
Ideal Candidate Considerations
- Deal Sizes: Experience handling high-value SaaS deals, averaging above US$200K, with sales cycles of 9+ months.
- Sales Strategy & Methodology: Demonstrates a strategic approach to closing complex SaaS deals, from prospecting to close, including pipeline management and weekly planning targeting top organizations.
- Enterprise SaaS Sales Experience: 7+ years selling complex SaaS solutions into large enterprises with multiple stakeholders.
- Quota Attainment: Proven track record of exceeding quotas of US$1.2M+ with average deals above US$200K.
- Proactive Sales Approach: Active engagement with BDR roles, new logo acquisition, multi-channel prospecting (e.g., LinkedIn), and executive presence for engaging senior decision-makers.
- Transparency: Ability to share sales performance data over the past 4-5 years.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with high innovation levels.
