This new opportunity will drive both print and digital product sales for our Higher Education customers situated across Italy.

How can you make an impact?

Our new Academic Sales Consultant will create opportunities to introduce our digital content, software, and services, to Higher Education establishments, working in partnership with new and existing customers to identify and implement tailored solutions. You will successfully achieve assigned revenue targets by closing deals and engaging all with all necessary stakeholders through the sales cycle.

What can you expect from this position?

  • Proactively contacting existing and potentially new customers via phone, virtual meeting tools, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Be the point of contact and relationship manager for our customers and foster these relationships with a diverse group of decision makers; individual academics, department heads, heads of e-learning, etc.
  • The go-to-person for our customers on technical and support issues, problem solving and training requirements.
  • Research, analyse and apply market and competitor information to successfully market products and support product development.
  • Manager relationships with our sales partners, including bookstores and distributors.
  • The ability to commute to our Office in Milan.

You should apply if:

  • You have a natural desire and passion for sales.
  • You are comfortable with selling online, in person, and over-the-phone.
  • You have some experience or working in an educational environment. This would be a nice-to-have requirement.
  • You are fluent in Italian and English.
  • You have a valid driving licence.
  • You have a University Degree, or equivalent.
