Position Summary

As the Logistics Coordinator, she/he will supervise logistics operations, identify daily issues, manage internal and external customers, and regularly report on Logistics Performance KPIs and costs to the Operation Center Manager and Top Management. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams (Sales and Operations) and external vendors, as well as customers, to ensure seamless logistics operations and drive logistics innovation and optimization.

Role and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics Operation Supervision:
2. Manage end-to-end logistics operations with service providers (Production, Export, Transportation, Import, In-stock, Departure, Invoice collection).
3. Monitor and control reverse logistics processes (Technical/Commercial Return, Concealed Damage, Scrap, and Ship Back).
4. Identify daily operational issues, pre-alert relevant teams, and resolve issues to maximize end-of-month operations and sales.
5. Support daily activities of the grading company.
6. Review weekly delivery order portfolios.
7. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics KPI reports.
8. Conduct scenario-based logistics cost analysis and implement cost-saving measures.

Logistics Process Improvement:

1. Review and improve logistics processes, monitor performance post-implementation.
2. Coordinate key logistics initiatives and improvement projects driven by European HQ.
3. Support vendor selection and evaluate third-party logistics KPIs.

Stock Controlling:

1. Assist with internal/external audits by counting logistics parts.
2. Control stock by product, grading, and in-transit status.
3. Compare daily stock discrepancies.

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Operations.
• Experience in logistics operations, cost control, financial analysis, or project management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; macro/statistics experience preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Italian skills.
• Travel less than 10%.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills, especially between sales and operations.
