A research foundation in Trento is looking for a technologist specializing in non-electrolytic hydrogen production. The position involves overseeing the design and operation of test benches, managing hydrogen production equipment, and collaborating on R&D activities. The Centre on Sustainable Energy (SE) supports the development of devices and methods for generation, storage, and distribution of energy solutions at low environmental impact. This is framed by energy sustainability and solutions that respect the environment and quality of life, with a lower impact on health and environmental pollution. The decarbonization targets require greater flexibility of the energy system, through new gas and power grids and energy vectors and storage solutions as enablers for wide renewable penetration.
The HYdrogen Technologies and Resilient Energy Systems (HyRES) Unit leads research and development in hydrogen technology and resilient energy systems, focusing on integrating renewable sources into a smarter energy grid, ensuring energy resilience and security, and collaborating with industrial partners. The research covers hydrogen production, storage, and final uses to reduce the carbon footprint of energy systems and contribute to a more sustainable and secure energy market.
Background information and description of research projects is retained in context of IPCEI Hy2Tech in FBK. FBK participates in all the specific technical fields (TF) of IPCEI Hy2Tech, with the aim to support the European H2 value chain and industry from TRL 3 to TRL7-8.
Depending on organizational needs, the selected candidate may also be involved in additional activities or projects within the Centre.

Remuneration: the current gross annual remuneration is between Euro 38,539.67 and 44,087.26 depending on knowledge and expertise, corresponding to a Fourth or Third level Technologist.
