Ferrero International S.A. in Alba, Piedmont, Italy, is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift to operate packaging lines and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will follow SOPs, record production data, manage line changeovers, and maintain cleanliness while upholding food safety standards. Candidates should understand basic math, read machinery diagrams, and complete company training.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, physical stamina, and basic inventory computer entry.

Competenze

• Understanding of basic math, reading level to understand machinery diagrams and technical instructions.
• Ability to pass company training and certification programs with respect to machine operation, and food safety.
• Basic computer entry for inventory control purposes.

Mansioni

• Operate equipment assigned to area including enrobers, shrink or flow wrappers, cutting equipment, melters, and tempering machines.
• Follow SOPPs, SSOPs, GMPs, and equipment procedures.
• Record production details including line rates, downtime, quality tests, and total production.
• Ensure lines are supplied with necessary and appropriate raw and packaging materials for each SKU.
• Changeover lines in required time frames with line associates.
• Follow established sanitary production guidelines.
• Transport waste, rework and trash to the appropriate areas with line associates.
• Ensure that all date and production codes are correct.
• Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Responsible to uphold and maintain the food safety and quality systems.
