Job summary

Atos Information Technology GmbH in India is seeking a skilled ZTNA Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure remote access using the Cato SASE Cloud. You will drive Zero Trust Network Access and replace legacy VPNs with modern, identity-based controls.

The role covers CMA administration, policy configuration, troubleshooting, and collaboration with security teams to ensure compliant, resilient connectivity for users and applications.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cato Networks SASE platform and ZTNA concepts.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN and firewall technologies.
• Understanding of IAM, SWG, CASB concepts.
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Responsibilities

• ZTNA implementation & management for secure remote and branch access.
• Cato SASE platform administration and CMA management.
• Configure identity-based access policies for users, devices, and applications; MFA enforcement.
• Provide L2/L3 troubleshooting and support for production issues.
• Configure and manage IPsec tunnels, Cato Socket deployments, and remote clients.
• Monitor traffic, security events, and user activity with dashboards.
• Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs, and configuration docs.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cato Networks ZTNA Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure remote access solutions using the Cato SASE Cloud Platform. The role focuses on enabling Zero Trust Network Access, replacing traditional VPN architectures, and ensuring secure, optimized connectivity for users and applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. ZTNA Implementation & Management

• Deploy and configure Cato ZTNA solutions for secure remote and branch access
• Replace legacy VPN solutions with Zero Trust architecture
• Configure identity-based access policies for users, devices, and applications
• Implement client-based and clientless ZTNA access

2. Cato SASE Platform Administration

• Manage Cato Management Application (CMA)
• Configure and maintain:
  • SD-WAN policies
  • Security policies (FWaaS, IPS, CASB, SWG)
  • Traffic steering and network segmentation
• Monitor network performance across global PoPs

3. Security & Access Control

• Integrate with Identity Providers (IdP) such as:
  • Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Okta
  • ADFS
• Implement multi-factor authentication (MFA)
• Enforce least privilege access policies

4. Troubleshooting & Support

• Diagnose issues related to:
  • User access failures
  • Tunnel connectivity
  • Application access via ZTNA
• Provide L2/L3 support for production issues

5. Network & Connectivity

• Configure and manage:
  • IPsec tunnels
  • Cato Socket deployments (physical/virtual)
  • Remote user clients (Windows, macOS, mobile)
• Optimize application performance using WAN optimization

6. Monitoring & Reporting

• Use Cato dashboards for:
  • Traffic analysis
  • Security events
  • User activity monitoring
• Generate regular reports for compliance and management

7. Documentation & Compliance

• Create and maintain:
  • Network diagrams
  • Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Configuration documents
• Support audits and compliance requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with:
  • Cato Networks SASE platform (mandatory/preferred)
  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) concepts
  • SD-WAN technologies
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals:
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
• Experience with:
  • Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco)
  • VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN)
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)

Security Skills

Understanding of:

• Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA)
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
• CASB and DLP concepts
