Job summary

Jobgether partner is seeking a Zscaler Administrator based in India to manage and optimize a global Zscaler environment including ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and Client Connector.

You will work cross-functionally with networking, security, and cloud teams to implement policies, monitor performance, and drive zero-trust initiatives in a multi-cloud setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Networking or equivalent experience.
• 1–3+ years hands-on experience administering Zscaler products in multi-cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of large interconnected networks, DNS and troubleshooting principles.
• Practical knowledge of Zscaler technologies (ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler Client Connector).
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure, including basic automation and IaC concepts (CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
• Programming proficiency in Python, JavaScript, Java, .NET, or similar language.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational health, performance, and capacity of the global Zscaler platform with KPIs.
• Configure and manage ZIA including URL access, controls, SSL inspection, and threat policies.
• Analyze logs and reports to identify security risks and performance issues.
• Participate in a global support queue; handle incidents and service requests with documentation.
• Support ZPA for secure access to private apps and connectors troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with облак environments (Azure/AWS) for ZPA connectors management.
• Administer and upgrade the Zscaler Client Connector fleet across OSes and profiles.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for aZscaler Adminbased inIndia.

This role is responsible for administering, optimizing, and supporting a global Zscaler environment across ZIA, ZPA, ZDX, and Zscaler Client Connector. You will help strengthen secure internet and private-application access while advancing zero-trust networking practices. The position combines day-to-day platform operations with security policy management, troubleshooting, monitoring, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with networking, security, identity, and end-user computing teams in a highly interconnected environment. The role also offers opportunities to work with cloud platforms, automation, APIs, and infrastructure-as-code. Success requires strong technical judgment, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach.

Accountabilities

• Maintain the operational health, performance, capacity, and efficient utilization of the global Zscaler platform, establishing relevant KPIs and monitoring practices.
• Configure and manage Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), including URL access, cloud application controls, SSL inspection, and threat-protection policies.
• Analyze web traffic logs, alerts, and platform reports to identify security risks, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in a global support queue, investigating and resolving incidents, service requests, and configuration changes while maintaining appropriate documentation.
• Support Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), including secure access to private applications, application segmentation, traffic forwarding, and application connector troubleshooting.
• Work with Azure and AWS environments to support ZPA application connector management and troubleshooting.
• Administer, maintain, and upgrade the global Zscaler Client Connector fleet across multiple operating systems, including posture settings, forwarding profiles, and tunnel configurations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, and repeatable processes in a dynamic global environment.
• Collaborate with networking, security, identity, and end-user computing teams to implement policies and resolve complex technical issues.
• Contribute to platform improvements, automation, and operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of service, security, and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• 1–3+ years of hands‑on experience administering and configuring Zscaler products in multi‑cloud environments.
• Strong understanding of large interconnected networks, DNS, and fundamental network troubleshooting principles.
• Practical knowledge of Zscaler technologies, particularly ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler Client Connector, and related security controls.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, including basic automation and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts using technologies such as CloudFormation, ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Programming proficiency in at least one language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, .NET, or a similar language.
• Understanding of system flow diagrams, data processing concepts, telecommunications principles, and applicable data privacy requirements.
• Experience with Zscaler APIs, Zidentity, CI/CD practices, Git, or Visual Studio is advantageous.
• Zscaler certifications such as ZDNA or ZDTE are desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, research, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in high‑pressure or emergency situations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, user‑friendly language.
• Strong documentation and technical‑writing capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks independently, meet deadlines, and maintain ownership in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
