Job summary

Vmart is seeking an experienced Category Sourcing Manager for apparel to drive value retail procurement in India. You will own vendor selection, negotiation, and on-time delivery aligned with seasonal calendars, while ensuring fabric, garment quality, and cost targets.

Collaborating with Merchandising and Planning, you will translate designs into bulk orders, ensure ethical sourcing and compliance, and monitor KPIs like OTIF and category fill rate to mitigate risks and protect margins.

• Collaborate with Merchandising to translate design and trend inputs into bulk orders.
• Ensure ethical sourcing, statutory, and quality compliance.
• Track KPIs related to cost, OTIF, quality rejections, and category fill rate.
• Mitigate supply chain risks, production delays, and cost escalations.
