Job summary

Shreekama Elegance Private Limited in India is seeking a Sourcing & Merchandising Executive to manage end-to-end sourcing and merchandising of women's garments. You will identify market-ready styles, build vendor relationships, and ensure commercially viable product selections aligned with brand aesthetics, pricing and margins.

The role is hands-on with market sourcing, product selection and execution, requiring knowledge of trends, fabrics, and commercial performance, plus travel for market

Qualifications

• Graduate or diploma in Fashion, Textiles, Merchandising, or a related field.
• 1-4 years of experience in women's apparel sourcing and/or merchandising.
• Willingness to travel frequently for market sourcing.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, fits, and embellishments.
• Experience in vendor negotiations and price setting.

Responsibilities

• Source women's garments from key apparel markets in India.
• Identify trend-relevant styles, fabrics, colors, and embellishments aligned with brand positioning.
• Onboard and manage vendor relationships, including price negotiations, MOQs, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate sampling, approvals, and revisions to meet quality and design standards.
• Monitor vendor performance regarding quality, timelines, and consistency.
• Merchandising: execute product selection, assortment planning, and range building across categories.
• Ensure optimal size, color, and price mix aligned with sales strategy.
• Ensure target margins and pricing benchmarks are achieved.
• Coordinate with inventory, operations, and marketing for launches and stock readiness.

• Commercial understanding of pricing, margins, and inventory planning is preferred.
