Job summary

Manra Management Consulting in Bengaluru is seeking a Zoho Developer to help establish a new Zoho Development & Automation Department that builds internal systems and automates compliance workflows for our CA, Audit, Compliance, and Reporting teams.

You will convert user stories into functional Zoho Creator modules, customize Zoho CRM, and implement API integrations with external services, creating scalable, cross‑module solutions and dashboards. This is an on-site role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Zoho Platform experience (CRM, Creator, Books, Inventory).
• Strong Deluge, HTML/CSS, and client scripts knowledge.

About the Role

We are setting up a new Zoho Development & Automation Department to build internal systems, automate compliance workflows, and create custom financial-tech applications used by our Chartered Accountancy, Compliance, Audit, and Reporting teams.

We are looking for a Zoho Developer with strong app-building capabilities in Zoho Creator, a deep understanding of Zoho ecosystem integrations, and working knowledge of APIs, automation, and workflow design. You will work directly with in-house experts- Chartered Accountants, Internal Auditors, and Compliance Specialists - who will provide product descriptions, process flows, and user stories. You will be responsible for converting these into functional, scalable software solutions.

This is an on-site / in-office role; remote work is not preferred.

Key Responsibilities

1. Zoho Creator Application Development

• Build end-to-end applications in Zoho Creator using Deluge, client scripts, workflows, blueprints, and custom forms.
• Create data models, relationships, dashboards, reports, and approval
  workflows.
• Convert CA-team user stories into functional Creator modules.

2. Zoho CRM Customisation

• Custom modules, page layouts, validation rules, and conditional field updates.
• Blueprint design, workflow rules, automation triggers, webhooks.
• Write and maintain Deluge scripts for advanced CRM logic.

3. API Integrations & External App Connectivity

• Build and manage integrations between Zoho apps and external services (e.g., Shopify, HubSpot, payment portals, or custom APIs).
• Set up REST API calls, authentication, data push/pull, syncing, and webhook listeners.
• Troubleshoot and optimise integrations for reliability.

4. Cross-Zoho Application Linkages

• Link Zoho Creator - CRM - Books - Inventory - Campaigns.
• Create unified workflows across modules (e.g., CRM - Creator records, Creator - Campaigns sync, CRM - Shopify sync as seen in candidate resume).

5. Business Process Automation

Map company processes to Zoho Flow or built-in automation tools.

Automate notifications, approvals, data movement, and task creation.

Implement rule-based triggers aligned with CA workflows (Accounting, Internal Audit, Compliance, etc.)

6. Reporting & Dashboarding

• Build analytics dashboards in Zoho Analytics using filters, KPIs, and time-based metrics.
• Support CA teams by generating automated MIS and compliance status dashboards, and audit process views.

7. Technical Documentation & Collaboration

• Convert functional requirements into technical specs.
• Prepare documentation for processes, APIs, data flows, and new feature rollouts.
• Collaborate closely with finance, audit, and compliance SMEs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• 3+ years hands-on experience in Zoho Platform (CRM, Creator, Books, Inventory, Campaigns, Analytics).
• Strong knowledge of Deluge, HTML/CSS, and client-side scripting.
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication methods, and JSON/XML data formats.
• Proven experience integrating Zoho with external applications (Shopify, HubSpot, etc.)
• Comfort working with relational data models and Creator form logic.
• Ability to create robust workflows and error-handled scripts.

Domain Adaptability

• Ability to understand processes related to accounting, internal audits, tax,compliance, and reporting.
• Convert CA-team user stories into structured modules and workflows.

Professional Skills

• Strong communication skills - English preferred.
• Analytical mindset with structured debugging approach.
• Ownership mindset with the ability to initiate and run a newly formed department.

Role Expectations (First 6 Months)

• Build the first set of internal custom apps for CA and internal audit workflows.
• Set up standardised automations for monthly/quarterly compliance cycles.
• Integrate Zoho ecosystem and external systems (where applicable).
• Create MIS dashboards for leadership and compliance teams.
• Establish documentation, SOPs, coding standards, and deployment guidelines for the new department.
