Job summary

Citigroup Graduate Apprentice - Process Automation & Finance Intelligence role blends business execution, corporate finance, and software engineering. It aims to eliminate repetitive bottlenecks, interpret complex data, and engineer resilient AI-assisted pipelines.

You will work with the Business Execution team to standardize and automate reports, supporting senior leaders in strategic decision-making and expense discipline across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python or automation tools with error handling.

Job Description

The Graduate Apprentice - Process Automation & Finance Intelligence role is a hybrid position operating at the intersection of business execution, corporate finance, and software engineering .

Rather than functioning solely as a traditional financial analyst or pure software developer, the successful candidate acts as an internal transformation engineer . The primary mandate is to eliminate repetitive manual operational bottlenecks, interpret complex financial datasets, and engineer resilient, AI-assisted automated pipelines.

This job involves working with existing Business execution team which is responsible for creating multiple standardize reports and helping the team to streamline and automate these reports. This team works directly for the Chief operating Office and thereby for the USCC Leader. It works very closely with all Business heads of USCC to support them in multiple strategic decision making analysis to maintain expense discipline.

Skills Required

• Knowledge of programming languages like Python, or tools like Knime, or any other language that can help automate existing processes. For programming languages skills required are (Python Syntax & Standard library, script modularity and error handling, version control).
• Automation & Integration.
• Working Knowledge of using AI tools
• Expert in Microsoft excel to understand and work with large data sets.
• Basic financial acumen and understanding of P&L and expenses in a business.

Additional Job Details

Language and Prior experience are no hurdle as long as an Energetic, Enthusiastic person is completely open to learn and deploy there existing skills in a professional environment to support the team and the business at large
