Job summary

Infosys is seeking a seasoned Workday specialist in Chennai to configure and optimize Absence, Time Tracking, Scheduling, and Adaptive Planning modules. You will act as SME and administrator, building integrations for Payroll, Benefits, Finance, and Recruiting while aligning with regional policies.

You will lead configuration efforts, conduct solution design workshops, and collaborate with clients to address business challenges during digital transformation journeys.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring Workday modules (Absence, Time Tracking, Scheduling).
• Strong knowledge of regional compliance and policies.
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is required.

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Scheduling modules, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regional compliance requirements.
• Set up and maintain absence plans, time entry codes, accruals, eligibility rules, work schedules, and calendar configurations.
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and system administrator for Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Configure and maintain models, dimensions, accounts, and levels to support financial and workforce planning processes.
• Configure and maintain Workday Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules, including compensation plans, grade structures, merit matrices, and bonus plans.
• Manage the setup and administration of compensation cycles (e.g., annual merit, bonus, stock grants).
• Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect.
• Develop and support integrations for Payroll, Benefits, Finance, Recruiting, and other functional areas.
• Configure and maintain the Workday Talent and Performance modules, including goal setting, feedback, check-ins, calibration, and performance review templates.
• Support configuration and rollout of succession planning, career development plans, individual development plans, competencies, skills and talent assessments.

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.
• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.
• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design
• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines
• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.
