Job summary

WillWare Technologies is seeking an experienced Test Lead for Workday Financials to drive testing across a large-scale Finance Transformation programme in Hyderabad. The role requires hands-on Workday Financials testing, leadership across SIT, UAT, and Data Migration, and coordination of multi-system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own and define the overall Test Strategy and Test Plan for the Workday Financials implementation.
• Lead and coordinate testing teams across SIT, Regression, Data Migration and UAT.
• Design and oversee end-to-end testing across Workday Financials and integrated systems.
• Lead testing of EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, APIs and interfaces.
• Manage regression testing across Finance processes including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Banking, Procurement, Expenses.
• Lead data migration testing, reconciliation, sampling and discrepancy analysis.
• Own defect management including triage, prioritization, tracking, retesting and closure.
• Lead SIT cycles and ensure complete end-to-end business process coverage.
• Coordinate and lead UAT with Finance business users and process owners.
• Identify and communicate testing risks, impacts, blockers and dependencies to programme leadership.
• Work closely with Workday functional consultants, developers, integration teams and third-party vendors.

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead - Workday Financials to join a large-scale Finance Transformation programme involving the implementation of Workday Financials, legacy system replacement, data migration, and multiple internal/third-party integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and define the overall Test Strategy and Test Plan for the Workday Financials implementation.
• Lead and coordinate testing teams across SIT, Regression, Data Migration and UAT.
• Design and oversee end-to-end testing across Workday Financials and integrated systems.
• Lead testing of EIBs, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, APIs and interfaces.

• Strong experience in SIT, UAT, Regression and Data Migration Testing.
• Experience defining Test Strategy, Test Plans and Test Scenarios.
• Experience leading and coordinating testing teams.
• Strong experience with integration and multi-system testing.
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation and discrepancy analysis.
• Strong defect management experience using JIRA / Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Ability to analyze JSON and XML data structures.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work with both technical teams and Finance/business stakeholders.
