Job summary

A leading IT services provider in Bengaluru seeks a Workday QA Lead to oversee testing processes for ERP projects. The role involves managing test activities, ensuring quality deliverables, and collaborating with various teams. Candidates should have experience with Workday HCM and ERP Mergers and Acquisitions. This full-time position offers a shift from 1pm to 10pm to support the European time zone.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and organise the testing process based on project requirements.
• Report project metrics and ensure adherence to standards.
• Manage SIT, UAT, regression testing and data validation.
• Ensure adherence to engineering practices, processes and standards.
• Understand and contribute to test automation/performance testing.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to understand testing framework and QA process for implementing continuous testing.
• Manage team utilization
• Participate in review, walkthrough, demo and obtain sign-off by stakeholders.
• Prepare Test Summary Reports for modules/features; manage test environments and data provisioning.
• Analyze, prioritize, identify gaps and create workflow diagrams based on requirements/User stories.
• Prepare estimates and schedules; identify dependencies.
• Define KPIs to the engagement and ensure adherence to these KPIs.
• Handle governance calls with stakeholders and represent issues for the team.
• Identify business processes, conduct risk analysis and ensure test coverage.
• Prepare test scenarios, RTM, and end-to-end critical scenarios with appropriate coverage.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, regression testing and data validation in merged/divested environments.
• Coordinate with data migration teams to validate ETL results and data integrity across legacy and target ERP systems.
• Track test metrics and provide regular reporting to project leadership on testing progress, risks, and issues.
• Support change management and end-user training teams by providing validated test scripts and results.
